I can come if we put something together. I don't have any solid plans. I think a lot of others already have plans though, so might be a low turnout if we do it.

Nothing official, just a free crawl to see the area. Honestly we rarely even setup gates or keep score out at the cliffs. More of a start here and get to there... We have a lot of rigs with different levels of capability. If anyone was up here and had rigs we might sneak out to the cliffs Sat. Depends on weather.... and all the family we have in town. Sounds like no one is here already and looking for things to do. I do not think it is worth driving here since we are not planning a full day. Probably just a quick hour or 2 of free driving around. Might even sneak over there in the boat just because we can |

Scratch that, what was I thinking We cannot even get to the cliffs on this particular weekend. N. Beach is a party meca and the roads are jammed. It is so out of control they close it down and clear the beaches every night. We will not be going to the cliffs this weekend.....

Time to try again? We canceled some travel and the next few weekends are open at this point.

This weekend and Aug 14 look the best for us at this point. Really anytime we are here if someone wants to come up we can sneak out there. We are always up for a reason to go crawling. Technically it is work for us |

Are you racing Eric's shortcourse series Jim? Aug. 14 is the second race of the series.

Maybe, we hope to hit a few of them this year. Those are the kind of 1 day events that are already scheduled that we want to avoid. Fridays and Sundays are not out of the question for us as well, but Sat seems to make the most sense to give everyone the best chance to make it.

Short notice but maybe this weekend is it since it is just a scouting trip.

There is a slim chance I can make it. I'm in the middle of a pretty serious yard project. But if I can get away what time and what location was decided?

9am at the parking lot? 10am at the latest... depends on how tonight goes being a bachelor and all Easy to find if you drive around the lake either direction. My truck will be hard to miss. It is the only parking area on the lake side of the road after North beach and Firemans point. It is the first parking area coming from the other side. If anyone comes tonight let me know. Jim |

I don't think anyone here is town can make it on short notice. I called jeff and larry and neither can go. Dino if you go let me know, we can car pool, but it sounds like your pretty busy as well. Long trip without the whole crew.
