If I can get it fixed after our little outing last weekend, I should be in.

How did the pics turn out of my poor newbie mobile?

Wish I could, Mom has to have her right knee redone the day before so I can't make it.

Default Directions

From Champaign Il:
I74 east to exit 200. Turn right (south), go to stop sign ("FS" plant on right, grain elevator across road), From Stop sign go Straight onto paved country road. You will come to a stop sign where the road becomes gravel, continue straight onto gravel rd. You will go down a Hill, across a bridge then back up a hill, at the top of the hill you will turn left (east) Follow this road around until you come to a property in a valley with a white barn in the front, a Brown Metal garage with a white roof back a lane and a cabin wrapped in Tyvex. Park in the driveway, try to avoid parking on the road, if parking becomes a problem I will adjust as needed.

From Danville/Indiana:

Park in the driveway, try to avoid parking on the road, if parking becomes a problem I will adjust as needed.

From Chicago/Kankakee:
Either take I57 south to I74 east or PM/Email me for directions that are a little closer but 2 lane rd.

I will try to post up signs with SCRC and an arrow on them, but signs have been known to blow off or be stolen. I will plan to be on location starting about 10am, if you arrive early (before me) the gate will be open to the parking area, the rock course is "across" the creek from the parking. Please use the bridge on the road. After I arrive I will set up a "shuttle" service so that people dont have to carry their gear.

In case someone wants to try looking up directions online:
13063N 250 east rd
Fairmount IL 61841

IF the forcast still is calling for thunderstorms that afternoon in Urbana, I will not be making it down. I am keeping my eye on the weather in hopes that it changes to just "cloudy" or "scattered". Last time the 6-7 hour round trip was just frustrating, and I do not want to go thru that again. I am doing my "NO RAIN DANCE". (Not a good sight)

What is it with you and RAIN?!?!?!? Its not going to rain!!! They are only calling for scattered showers, mainly in the morning anyway... the local news down there is only saying 40% chance of AM showers with a chance of T-storms in the evening. Theres been a 40-50% chance around here most of the week and my yard is still brown.....

Weather.com has it at only 30% chance

Ced...good job with the PhotoShop.

Jeff...I just told the wife that the weather looks fair enough for me to take the risk of RAIN, and drive to the Farm Comp anyway.

Does anybody else from up here plan on going down to the Farm Comp?? If so, maybe a carpool is in order...contact me if interested. I plan on doing the comp and driving back soon afterwards. I have a birthday party to attend at 7pm in Carol Stream.
