I've studied the XR10 axle parts for a few days, I put the front together with a simple added mod, and have an idea what is causing the problem in the rear. I just need to find some time to get it together and test it. I also found gear stock that I could make replacement gears from. (have not ordered yet though) Cast gears are not suited for this apllication.
