I know the other wheels werent scale but, I liked them... These look more "realistic". Good luck on the rear rack.

Something as intricate and detailed as that I'd probably use brass as you can find a better selection. If you use brass then you can solder pieces together with plumbing solder.

Or another option is styrene as you can just glue it together. Most hobby shops stock all kinds of plastic styrene stock.

But, steel would be the strongest and best take the load of the truck in the rough.

Brazing isn't to hard as long as you have the proper heat.

Just keep in mind the more metal and accessories you add the less capable it will be on the rocks.

why not just use a simple ladder on the back... thats a very common accessory on the d90s with racks.

ill have to say if i take the rack off my yota it looks plain just like every eleses but i also have to agree the more you put on the better it gets stuck and rolls over...lol ...but gosh dang ...them ol roof racks and accesiories sure look cool so i take the good with the bad and i put a lot of crap on my rigs and yes it doesnt go as good as if it was stripped down but it looks way sharper and people pay more attention when im driving out and about. so the choice is your s. id add a rack and a bad azz winch & bumper like the 1s from rc4wd but thats just me ...

Really needs the inside of the body painted black. Right now its whiteish red is giving up the realism. Nothing makes a truck more real then a fake interior and action figure in the front seat.

If you trim off the excess plastic from the Por-Line and paint it a nice matching gloss black, it will look pretty good on top of that Rover.
