I'm wanting a narrower wheel and tire set up on my wraith wondering if my motoworx wheels will ever be able to do this. There 1.1 in wide without the rings. I'm wanting a narrow set up like the vanquish wraith

i really dont like painting these damn things. but since im doing two for my wraith i figured id get a few more done.

faces aint done yet. with the eyebrows and pupils and black helmet padding all painted in they wont feel so dark.

i was thinking of doing a set for timmy with both driver and pass flipping.

i got them all a little too dark in the shadow areas. im afraid ill make them worse if i try to go over them with a lighter wash in an attempt to brighten them up.

looks like the nwi mall crawler class is gonna get a bit more involved. "thumbsup"

i think i can say its safe to say we here all think its a step in the right direction. i'll have no problem running my tf2 or highlift if i get a little something extra for running a tcase and leafsprings.

Yeah, it's a bit of a shame for the NWITTC guys that are building rigs to 20 points and then heading to a SORRCA event... they have a biiiiiig disadvantage against all the guys building to 60 points.

not my problem. i would imagine most those guys either build rigs for sorrca and just adapt them to nwi rules or they have no interest in sorrca to begin with.

bitchin and moaning that scale points are just money based when i see most those guys running baller rigs. :lmao:

if we host up some nirc events in the future its my belief that we dont cut anybody any breaks for coming in with a weakly pointed rig or one thats not legal per sorrca. i will happily assume the role of rule nazi.

Of course not... 60 points (or so), but then again, I don't want to have too many competitors to begin with...

So.. A group of guys are doing ice racing so, I had to get in on it this year. Picked up a roller today for 3 bills. I know, I know.. Not R/C related.. I mean, I COULD stick a servo on the throttle linkage. 8)

That's a nice looking setup Johnny!

That cart looks badass Rick!

I've been going hard on my 1:1's lately. My Taco was feeling neglected. Change the oil in the front & rear diffs, changed the tranny fluid, transfer case oil, replaced the coolant, cleaned the K&N, new coolant hoses, t-stat and t-stat housing, new serpentine belt, changed the spark plugs, put the winch on, replaced the A/C blower motor that sounded terrible, greased the drive shafts, R/R'd the brake fluid in the master cylinder, ordered all-pro sliders and rear bumper with side guards, ordered new Old Man Emu rear Dakar springs to replace my stock with AAL's that are being recalled for failure...not to mention they're sagging, picked up a hi-lift and some other gear to go with my winch, and gave her a good waxing! Need to order new shocks too, these have 50,000 miles on them.

Been showing the blazer a little love too, new lighting all around, LED's to update the old (hard to see) markers, signals and brake lights, new halogen headlights, finally getting around to replacing the speedo and install the factory vacuum gauge in the cluster.

I've spent the last two weekends under my rigs in the garage. I sure am loving my heated garage!
