Event Itinerary 2015

Here is the event itinerary for the weekend

Friday, April 24th-
10:00am- Ultra4
Ultra4 Racing
3:30 pm- RC Rally Race at Hoon470
7:30 pm-Meet and greet at The Crawl Space
Concourse Voting/ Ultra4 Awards

Saturday April 25th-
9:00 am- Class 1 and Class 3 at Red Rocks.
4:00pm- RC Rally Race at Hoon470.
TTC Voting at The Crawl Space

Sunday, April 26th-
9:00 am- Class 2 at Red Rocks
6:00 pm- Awards/Raffle

Monday, April 27th-
9:00am TTC
TTC Awards

We will be running 5 courses per class with 80 drivers in class 2, 40 drivers in class 1 and 40 drivers in class 3. The U4 class will be capped at 50 drivers and rally will be capped at 40 drivers. And TTC at 12.

Atm, we're planning on renting a 15 passenger van and packing half of it with gear.

Looks like van rentals start around 500$ for the week. Some places have unlimited mileage.
Others don't.

Sites claim 12-15mpg for the 15 pass vans.
Mini vans are about the same price better mileage. But only seat 7


Now is when I really wish I had a jetta tdi wagon

Just got off the phone with Chicagoland truck rental.

They want 1100 for 7 days unlimited miles tax included.
Van gets about 15mpg. For 2k mile round trip that comes to about 550$ for gas.

This was just the first place I tried. So maybe more. Maybe less
But this should give us an idea.
Gas was estimated at 4$ a gal. For 2k mi. So that could be more or less as well.

just looking real quick at basic car rentals for 7 days that month, a regular car is around 250. might be cheaper to get a little convoy of rentals going.

to be honest, id love to go and will put in for the time at work, but id want to be there a bit longer, maybe go up further into the mountains or see some friends i havent in a long time.

Well,
1. you said you would like to go... that's not a definite "yes" to me.
2. the group of guys in the "going" list have been discussing this for a while, in person... this thread is to keep track of details.
3. we have only seen you 2 times out over the past 2 or 3 years so please forgive me if I question your seriousness.
4. most of the time you talk about the club is to tell us you are happy you are not apart of it...

No one is stopping you from going, it's not our comp.
But yeah, as far as riding with us... I don't know.
All these guys are ahead of you because like I said, we've been talking about it, in person, for a while now.
Also, I've had one person voice concern about you riding with us... honestly Saydee, we never know which Saydee is going to show up: The guy that just wants to hang out and play with trucks or the guy that tells us we all suck...

i plan on going but i'll probably rent a little compact car and do it solo since i think i'd spend a few extra days.

I have always wanted to go to red rock and a scale comp would just be the bomb.

I dont wanna cruise out there solo so it cool.
