For those of you that have this Trailfinder what do you think of the transmission/Transfer case combo?

I am thinking a axial trans with GCM might be a little better?

Looks as I want to go OG Bruiser chassis Bruiser leaf on a pair of Yota 2 axles

Still undecided if I will for a Hilux from RC4WD body or Tayima.

Well the GCM t-cases are pretty much bullet proof but IIRC we were just complaining about t-cases about a week ago...and how they were a PITA. Do you have to run a front motor? I'm going to leave my Bruiser tranny in, maybe raise it.

Are the two bodies comparable in price? If so I'd probably go with the mohave if you have the room in the rear. They've got the semi "drop bed".

Remember that the bruiser chassis is wider in the rear so your leafs will be at different widths front to back.

I have a GCM in my Scrambler running a pro4 for a long time not issues. I want to run the motor up front so I can use a interior. Ya both body are about the same in price and I think you can find a Trailfinder on here alot cheaper used.

With the Mohave you won't have to deal with these filler plates either.

The front bumper is in the works and I'm liking how its turning out. Decided to run brushed so, I have a holmes motor and Jason is hooking me up with an FXR.
I have to sit down for a while and finish installing all the scale hardware into the wheels. I can't wait to get it finished up so MF can do a photoshoot of it.

So far the only talk has been to have a gtg at my place the Friday after Thanksgiving to drink some stinky beer, smoke some stinky smoke and eat some yummy food. (it's all been cleared with Susan!)

I was also thinking... for people who have the day off, we could go to the the lakefront and crawl for a couple of hours before the party. We could set up a course and do a mini comp if you guys are interested.
