I just finished doing work for the weekend. Built a bumper, added some chassis supports to the front end, and I now have CMS. I attempted to do an interior cage, but it wasn't working out for me today, couldn't get the bends right. Gonna figure out where I can put all my electronics, battery, and lights this week. Still a long way to go, but it's getting there in a good pace. |

Damn, I need about a 380mm sensor wire! Longest I can find is a 300mm.

| Re: NIRC. Chit Chat Yeah no dice... don't seem to exist. Wonder if I can cut two short ones apart and solder them back together. Worried though about increased resistance, etc. affecting the feedback though.

Look through my old thread and hopefully you can find something of use. Extra Long Brushless Sensor Wire? |

Finally got around to doing my panhard on the JK. It works pretty well! It does limit compression a little but not enough to worry about. It's not like I'm jumping the thing and need full compression on both tires at once. Now there is zero bump steer with compression. Hell it seems like half the time I do a panhard setup there's still bump steer because my drag link and panhard bar aren't sweeping the same arc or aren't parallel. The axle looks nicer too without that big truss on top of it but it's probably not as strong. I wish VP would come out with the lowered truss already! On another note...and because who really cares about my dumb updates...I just noticed the "tags" box right above this quick reply box. Has that always been there? |

Styrene isn't too hard to work with, just tedious. I did quite a bit of work with it on my Chevy and I'm over it! My attention level right now is too low for something that detailed. I'd rather just bolt shit on. I'm with you on the D90 body though. It's not very exciting. |

this weekend while i was up at ricks house he noticed i had a ripped alt belt in my 4runner, and upon further investigation it would seem that my recent work i had done in april at grossinger city toyota (timing belt, waterpump, trans flush) probably wasnt done at all... i wasnt that upset about it until i woke up this morning... its too late and it would be a total nightmare fight to prove anything, but i just want to say dont deal with those guys. and thanks rick for helping me swap out my belts and noticing the shredded belt in the first place. |
