I'm "like"ing the comment about women with fat titties, I disagree about the British bikes. I had a '68 Triumph Bonneville that ran better than my Harley, when I lived out in Cali. It was in a long stretched out hardtail frame with a 17 over front fork. Once I learned about the Amal carbs, and put on a magneto, it ran like a raped ape!

That's the truth. I know all the constant maintenance and leaking and run issues with Harley's and heard owners complain for years. I walked into Halls Harley Davidsons store in spgfld il last week( giant Harley dealer and mechanic and store in one) looking for a helmet for the wife. Needless to say it was giant, but all Harley paraphernalia. Less than 20 helmet styles and they all had the logo. $90 simple belts etc. and two coffee bars it looked like and a dozen or so people just stroking each other's egos. Harley I personally believe is just more of a status symbol. Used to be about freedom and fun and bikes on the budget but wow it's like a whole group of(mostly anyways) posers that just make each other feel good all day. Haha putting it that way makes me think of a better term- role playing. Haha "live action role playing" Harley style lol | |

(Said in a tough sounding voice) Get ya some leather ass-less chaps and sew some patches on yer vest! Don't wear a helmet because it ain't cool! My bike shakes the every living sh!t out of me when I'm sitting at a light and it's awesome. --Harley Davidson |

Entertaining offers on the super shafty mad force monster truck I won at guru's I'm not really a monster truck guy and don't have time to put into this beast. Has a skid drilled for an axial trans. Gonna need electronics and steering set up. Not sure what it's worth other than what mike said at the event. Seemed a little inflated for excitement. I can bring to Gary's Saturday for viewing. |

Nice Jake! But I gotta ask. Why a 50? Edit- just finished installing my smoke wind screen. Hoping it throws air higher than the OG. Fz6 600 yamma hamma Last edited by CrawlinMike; 08-05-2015 at 02:12 PM. |

I chose the 50 because I just want to put around town and don't need an M class license to do it. Anything bigger I wouldn't get a scooter, I'd get that FZ09. Which I might do next year.

Buddy of mine just bought an Indian Scout, and it gets up and goes like any other V-twin out there. It also has more balls than the Sportster, which is it's price equal. And your right, nowadays you walk into a Harley dealer, and you get the immediate impression they think they are above you, what a bunch of wanna-be's, losers in my opinion. I've ridden Harleys from the late '70's up to 2004, ( which was my last purchase ). I traded that 2004 Sporty for a 600 Suzuki shaft drive trike and rode that up until I sold it 2 yrs ago. When I first started riding, it was about getting in the wind, no matter what kind or make of bike you rode. Nowadays the wanna-be, I-think-I'm-a-biker-because-I-have-a-"better"-bike-than-you attitude makes me sick. It ain't about how many chrome goodies you have on that overpriced V-Twin, especially since the other 2 American made motorcycle companies, Victory and Indian can match what Harley sells, but at a lower price. |
