I'm going out there tomorrow.

I guess a guy went to see it today and wants it but the owner didn't get a good feeling from him and told him that I'm ahead of him... he went to see it first but I called the guy first and told him if it looks as good in person, I want to buy it.

What about money? You got that covered? Did you get the check? Its easiest to haggle on price if you can make a cash in hand offer.

I explained my situation to the guy and he's ok with it... I did have to go up 200 to match the other guys offer .

It's a little saggy, needs new rear shocks.

I really want to lift it now but think I should wait till I decide if I can swing a solid axle swap.

I think I'd have to wait till tax time next year before I could do the sas...
or, I could probably buy all the lift stuff by end of this summer if I leave it IFS.

or, I could go cheap and temp and get the Rough Country lift but that just seems like a waist of money.

Shocks do not effect ride height. Exception being air shocks. Don't get rc crap

straight from my mind to tapatalk

Yeah, you'll need helper springs or new springs or lift blocks to get rid of sag. Shocks are just bump/vibration dampeners really.

He ain't gonna stop buying R/C parts! That's crazy talk! In fact.. I see a 1/10 4runner in his future.

lol, R/C = good, rc = bad!

I think an Old Man Emu 2" lift is in my future.

So to fix the current sag, I need new leafs?
or do I just leave it till I can afford the lift.

All old 4runners suffer from a saggy ass. It won't hurt anything, just wait for the lift

Sag never hurt nobody! But, if you can't stand it.. Look into helper springs or small lift blocks & new u-bolts. Thats a cheap fix. $50-$150 ish

Check amazon for fabtech springs... seems messed up but was the cheapest place to get them. If you do some research you can lift way cheaper than buying a kit.

Johnny your new (used) Truck looks SWEEEEET. I'm calling dibs on shotgun and it looks like it might accommodate my wagon. Just jokeing. I wish the best of luck with your new addition to the family.

I like it!
I had it at the gtg yesterday... it's real clean.
I gotta get used to the high cog though... was a little freaked out with the bouncy rear end on the expressway ramps.
