Nobody is going to "tweak" my 3PKS.

I think I came up with a way to hinge my upper shock mount so that both shocks can pivot independently without binding and destroying the upper mount bushing. Just need the time to make it now.:-(

If anyone is interested in a set of (4) traxxas big bore shocks, I could make you a deal. They are not threaded bodies.

I took my EX-10 apart tonight and tried to put one of the dials on it for the 3rd channel, I have no clue as to what I am doing! I am a mechanical guy not a electrical guy. The first thing I noticed was that there are no gears or gear lube, or any type of mechanical switches inside of a Helios EX-10. So right away I was lost.

I now know that I will need help if I am to do this.

p.s. Ken how much is a nomadio?

Hey Scott! What brings you to these parts? You got your VTA setup yet?

TNT this Sunday!!!! most likely will have a practice comp. I think it should be in the woods again on the same courses as the first SummitRock. I think that it would give us a good idea of how any changes that you have done made the truck better or worse. Also I have a beef with the 2nd course to settle.

seth

P.S. I just found out that Panther sent two full sets of tires! So one set for SR #2 and one set for SR #3

Agreed, you still going to be there early, given the date and all
I know I'm going to have to make it a short day.

I finally got a chance to stop by the track today. It looks really good! Had a chance to chat with Dale for a while, good times. Hopefully I will be there Sunday with both my 2.2's.

Great fun at the test and tune / mock comp today. Again Seth wins albeit with another * by that W .
Good to see a few more new faces and the interest keeps growing. Looks like the 22nd will be a full house and may even see a super or 2

You just keep working on that DIG. If you where a real sports man you would figure out how to get my 3rd channel to dig and free wheele.

Yeah I liked to see that most every one was trying new stuff and working on set ups.

What is the opinion of the longer 9 gate course versus the shorter 6 gate version.

I think I liked the longer one.

Ken I liked it too, I will try to add one long course in the next SummitRock June 22nd.

Thank you for your input as well.

Woohoo! I finally got to shakedown my new crawler. I managed to break a bolt on it and send the steering servo into a frienzy and I broke the rear driveshaft on my axial tuber once again. It was a good day. I am looking forward to getting my butt kicked come next Sunday......hehe.

Well, my AX10 is ready to rock I think. My super trick shock mounts turned out pretty good. If they work half as good as they look I'll be only a few tenths off the pace as usual.

Well it looks as if we have some vandals paying our rock course a visit just about every week now. This week they knocked over the stair step on the yard course and they have turned over large peices of concreat on the woods course.

Yard Course, a bunch of ROCKS. A course barely in place. Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the technology. We have the capability to build the world's first bionic rock course. Yard Course will be that course. Better than it was before. Better, stronger, faster. It will just take six million dollars.
