Franklin huh... Who are ya and do I know ya? Yes TC, Franklin... my old stomping grounds. By ST73... Ceasers Creek... well.. there's a bunch of trails for hiking and biking... and they have a rock quarry, BUT... its a protected area last I remember. They have fossil digs there alot. Not sure if they'd be allowing us to crawl there. I don't know about any other places... the land around the lake is mainly forest, never seen many rocks. I'm sure some of the trails deep in the woods may have some. Would be worth checking in to. |

Hey guys, I just bought a stick crawler and a friend near by just got a Gecko 2. I work at the Badlands offroad park in Attica, IN and I've been finding some great spots to crawl here since there are tons of rock areas. I know it might be far for some of you, but you're more than welcome to come. Let me know if you're interested.

There is a neighborhood that is being built in a rock quarry, and well the places they havent started building yet are a free for all for crawling. Rocks form one wnd to the other and some seriously awesome trails. if anyone is interested in meeting up for there or FOTO gimme a call 317-376-9379, my name is seth. and yes I know its a central indiana number, thats where im from, but i live down here just notrth of louisville now.

I was over at McCormicks Creek State Park near Spencer, IN. The creek bed offers some fun runs when the water is low. Didn't have a camera or much time, but was told there where even more "rocky areas" by a hiker at the far end of the park. Also stopped by Cataract falls near Cloverdale. Not comp worthy per se, but fun for a small group. |
