Indiana TTC Summer Series event 2 Marion, Indiana

Round two is here and we are going to Matter Park in Marion, IN. We will meet at 10 am for a drivers meeting this Saturday (June 23). We will meet in the back parking lot of the park. Events will be obstacle course, hill climb, hot lap, tug of war and rock crawling if time permits. There is lots of food choices fairly close and restrooms on the park grounds.

Directions: take SR 9 to Quarry Road, turn left from the south or right from the north, go 1/8 mile to where the road Y's, turn left on River Road (you will see a park sign at the Y. Follow River Road around to the second park entrance, you will pass the playground on the way, the second park entrance is at the softball field. Turn right into the park and follow it clear to the back past the softball field and maintenance building. Google maps hasn't been kind to me this morning, if I figure out how to attach a map I'll get one up this week.

I checked the location this afternoon and the creek was dry and the river is down, big surprise since we haven't had any rain in almost 3 weeks. However, we are good to go with the event and I'm looking forward to everyone coming up. I know its a long way for some of you.

I may be out too... I'm totally redesigning the diffs in the Redcat. I was just gonna' throw new stock parts in, but the thought of driving 3 hours one way to have it shuck the diff again didn't appeal to me. I upgraded everything but the diff, and it was the weakest link.
I am building a spool type setup from scratch, that should be strong enough to handle the mighty 380 motors. I hope to be there, but I am really busy the next couple evenings, so I may not show.

I have already made plans for the Fort Wayne comp though. Gonna' hit town the night before, hotel it up, and send the girlfriend,and her daughter to the zoo while I play. They are looking forward to it, so I am locked in!

We ended up with four people today which doesn't surprise me too much. However we still had a really good time bashing and running all over the place. Didn't get too many pics.

I got the dates mixed up, spent all day prepping my truck for tomorrow. Crap, see ya at the next one. Anybody wanna play around Indy tomorrow?

Yes, the event is still on. I am going to call the guy today to make sure he hasn't forgotten us. If anything changes, I will find an alternative spot for us to get our comp going. I will also post up a new thread here after bit.
