Would any of you out of towners ever consider making the trip to Topeka for an afternoon of crawling and trailing? I could probably make something happen on the 16th or 30th. It wouldn't be anything with prizes or fancy stuff like that. Just a casual GtG. There is a very good spot about 10 minutes west of town. The locals don't like driving out that far so its lonely out there sometimes. Its a dry rock beed creek (the only one we have found near here) that only gets a small amount of water in it and runs down a ways.

Either the 16th or 30th of this month yes. I have been trying to post a link. I'm not terribly hyperlink savvy. Its the creek that runs under the bridge at Maple Hill off of I-70 west of topeka about 10 miles. go to the location on the map, right on the location and center the map. On the left hand side of the screen are some control buttons, click the one that looks like two chain links. copy the top link and paste it here. I can take it from there and setup the calendar event. 16th won't workfor me, JC is on the 15th and I hope to test fire my bike on the 16th  |

Lets say the 30th. 12 noon. The area is not wheel chair friendly just fyi. I can't do October. Looking at my work calendar it seems that I will have 2 days off for the month. |

I don't have anything planned for that weekend. I'll have to check with the wife to make sure, but that's do-able. I got plenty of room in the van if it works out that I can go if anyone wants a ride.

Isn't that Mill Creek, just south of Maple Hill? My kids go to school there. I've been eyeing that location for a while. Both playing football that sunday tho.

If I can bum a ride, I'll be there  Again, I'll try and bring my brother, in which case I wouldn't need a ride. His schedule is always changing so it's doubtful... |
