One of the clubs I belong to in California struggled for a while coming up with a name for the very same reasons. I don't know about your members but we noticed that we were all using scale rigs and were planning our events with a scale type of format. So we came up with Area 916 RC Scalers. Area 916 is the area code for the Sacramento area. Anyway we felt that we had been able to differentiate our club by using the word scalers. I'm not saying that you guys should do the same but thought this might spur some creative thinking.

I know the top 2 are re-posts of from before, but I listed the tread type in the pic so people knew what it was. The 2 on the bottom are newer ones that I come up with today.     |

I really like the logos that have been posted here. I think the simple ones with the tire tread look the best and will transfer to stickers or any other media the best. I really think the name of the club should be set and be done with and I personally like the Mid Kansas Radio Controlled Crawlers (MKRCC). I think if you add scalers or something similar you could turn some people off if they don't have a scale crawler or would prefer to run a comp crawler but still come out and have fun. I really don't see the point in doing anymore logo designs until the name is finalized.

OK, now that we got the name hammered out, we need to come up with a good logo. I think we can use the ideas that Hotrodblder, Grob and I (and anyone else that wants to submit an idea) have put together for a final version. I will work on getting the ones that I worked on fixed up with the new name (should be pretty easy) If the others that made some, fix there's up as well and post them on here. We should have a good number of them for our next meeting. What I will do is print those off for the meeting so we can vote on it.
