panhard bar limits side-to-side axle movement. 3 link setup on this truck. Panhard bar is top "3rd" link. If that wasn't there, the axle would move too freely side to side. The bar replaces the two top links in a normal 4 link setup. Last edited by Szczerba; 11-26-2008 at 02:50 PM. |

I touched on this in and updated 11/26/08 post in the same post you pulled the picture from. Yet Another Rock Force Build It's used in very high end Rock Racer 1:1 builds and is very much responsible for the non-torque roll performance of the chassis. Check out the post, I have a link to a 1:1 build that uses the same link setup. |
