Hard to pick a motor for someone. Everyone likes more/less wheelspeed or low end grunt. The Holmes Hobbies Crawlmasters are very nice little motors. A 3 cell will wake them up a bit and it'd just be a matter of finding the right gear ratio to make them work well. As with ANY outrunner,to tall a gear and they'll cog on start up. Personally,I'd try what you have first. If you go to a brushed motor, look into a 35t Holmes Handwound. One of the best 540 motors on the market IMO. |
