Now that the GP and Clod are done and ready for Diggers I can work on the Mad Force..Got my package for Brad at TTR and put it with my batteries and Hitec 7955 servo...also got my 18t pinion...got the body all trimmed up and sum decals on it..waiting for "The Jackal" dcals from Bari!

Got the body mounted and lower the body post a few notches, looks better...Next up are the parts from TTR!

Thanks..I cut the mask on purpose so those windows would be painted...Imgoing to put sponsor decals on them..I didnt like the crew cab look lol

The week of the Mad Force...

Started working on the TTR steering setup last night and hopefully Ill have the traction bars in tonite. Im going to try and disasemble the front axle so when the CVDs get here I can put them in along with the new shocks and get the truck back together faster....I do like how easy the truck is to work on..I also got my foamed wheels and tires.

Got more work done on the MF....with Diggers Dungeon less than a week away I needed to get my butt in gear lol. I got the TTR steering installed..very easy to install. I used a Hitec 7940 I had laying around. Feels very smooth and no binding anywhere..

Also got the TTR Traction Bars installed..These were very easy to install as well...After I got them on I noticed the truck felt stiffer. Just waiting on the new shocks to come in...also gonna swap in the 18t pinion. Tomorrow Ill solder the connectors to the batteries and get a test run..

I honestly havent even got to drive it yet lol...been making all these changes and didnt have the connectors on the battery to run it...Today I will be doing some soldering so I hope to test it out tomorrow if the rain lets up

FINALLY!!!!!!

Got the batteries soldered....also got the shock in the mail yesterday..I emptied the stock oil and used 20wt for a nice soft setup

I made tonight the nite I would finish the MF....I was able o get the battery holders modified to fit my weird sized lipos lol (I also think I shorted one of them out, when I try to charge it, it says low voltage. ..any suggestions?).. I trimmed the posts off and dremeled then down..used velcro straps and reattached them to the chassis. I will pick up sum black straps later

Also got the shocls put back together and installed...

try charging it with the balance plugged undone and see if you can get the voltage up some. thats what i did for mine to get them to charge again.

that truck looks great man.

what hub size are you running

what shocks are those?

Or set your charger for nicd or nimh for 10-15 seconds. That will get the cells to the min voltage. If it's not enough 10-15 more seconds.

The Mad Force did ok too...I raced it in the BL Electric class with the Indy suspension trucks..First time really messing with the truck and as we rounded the first turn I hopped the divider and got DQ'd....It happened to alot of people so I dont feel bad..

Wasnt able to get the Jackal decals so I outfitted the body with TMF decals lol....and I got a Clodtalk.com decal on there too...for Freestyle I launched it over a few of the jumps and broke the wheely bar, bent a drive shaft in the rear, bent the chassis slightly in the rear, and cracked the front axle houseing lol...I will never EVER beat on the truck that much again but I was glad to see how it held up...or didnt hold up lol..

I ordered new housings for the front and rear and also a new wheely bar...gonna grab another pair of CVDs from SuperShafty as well as the 14mm hexes, and crazy 8 driveshafts..that should be enough to make it tougher and itll be good to go...here are a few pics from WF8!
