Default Ive gone MAD I tell ya......FORCE that is!

Yes I sold the TXT and picked up a Mad Force VE....
Rationalization... I have the Zmaxx chassis being built and sticking to my guns about the # of trucks I have, I didn't need 2 TXTs so I passed the Pounder along...Been looking at the Mad Force for a year now and the price dropped so I grabbed one...Sounds like a good explanation to me moving on...
When I want to play with a truck and not worry about breaking it...I can take the Mad Force out...Ive seen a few others have picked one up lately too and sum really cool projects have popped up. This truck can take a beating like those IS trucks but I get to have a solid axle lol...Big plans for the future but gonna enjoy it stock for a while..Also gonna take it down to Diggers Dungeon so I can have something else to race lol..next 505 MT season I will race this against those Independent Suspension guys....less talky here are a few pics!

So the plan is to make a few needed upgrades and keep the stock chassis setup for a while...I want to add sum parts from SuperShafty to help strengthen the Steering and axles...

MAD/TWIN Axle Mods - Super Shafty

Eventually I will convert to a true 4-linked setup...I can either go for Bari's Chassis or get a custom set of plates done by a friend. If I go with Bari's chassis, he uses the stock trans setup on 2 540 BL motors...If I go with a custom set, I can switch to the Emaxx 3908 trans..All of that is for the future tho, just thinking out loud....Im going to enjoy the stockish setup for now.

The only gripe I have is that the wheels and tires didnt come with foams....the tires are realy soft and I dont want to mess them up trying to unglue them an add foams..If I want a new set, it will cost around $70....other than that truck seems good...This truck will be known as "The Jackal"

I just ordered the TTR Eliminator steering setup and the low profile traction bars from Brad at Thundertech.
Twin Force

Got a cool tip on a set of shocks to use too ....and SuperShafty has the CVDs and a set of driveshafts I will pick up after Diggers Dungeon.

Trying my hand at painting a new body for the Mad Force....Honestly this is the most "involved" paint job I have done lol..normally I use 1 color and still manage to mess that up somehow

I used Tamiya Metallic Blue and Gunmetal...Regular gloss white behind the blue and for the trim...Black behind the whole thing...I think it came out pretty cool..Now I have to trim and add Decals

Looks good. I recently made the switch from masking tape to liquid mask. Simply said, I will never use tape again
