Holy cow....this build is insane. I cannot believe the accuracy and attention to detail involved in it's construction. You sir have loads of patience and great skill working with your hands.

When watching your vids, I became captivated how the engine sound actually matched the amount of throttle you were giving while crawling.

Simply amazing job

hey steph..forgot pic.
this moon buggy has enclosed engine compartment area
to hide electronics
Cad to Chrome is coming out with a re-cased axial transmission that looks scale but is small..used with a shiftable transfer case i know they are small but just an idea
..check vendor area..
in this buggy the eng and trans are mounted backwards with the transfer case in the driver compartment..exposed

awesome craftsmanship, but not sold on the design of the truck... seems to have a really low floor line.

i am workin on helping stef with SSIII,thank god for google translator!!!
from communicating with him he realized that the scale was off a little
he has stated that there will not be a SSIII unless it is extremly accurate to scale
this gentleman has some awesome skills!!! as everyone who has read this would agree
myself, and i believe everyone else would kill to see Stef build one more(at least)
so far we have been bouncing back and forth between a campbell style moon buggy,
and a 2 seater jeep type..main issue, finding room in a moonbuggy for all the rc "stuff" (see above pics)
already have full size scale drawings done for "campbell" going to convert to 4-link from the 3-link
it does seem to me that the orange bodied 2 seater has the best ability to
contain the rc parts though ,so this week ill be drawing that one for stef,
besides its already a 4-link susp and more details..............
............stay tuned............
might be time for a new thread
