| Re: Wr-eep! I narrowed Wraith axles for my leaf spring Willys and I'm not too happy with the results, I think the 'Comp Cut" is the only realistic way to pull it off using the AR60 axles. young_version has the look nailed!

I just need some softer springs on my willy and itll be to my liking. I used the wraith axles and did not comp cut mine. Probably isnt as capable as young_versions tho.

well mine definitely wont be pulling wheelies, I have a 89 tooth spur on my transmission, 9 tooth on my motor, the motor is an 80t, plus the transfer case is 2.18:1, and then what ever the wraith axels ratio is. Its slow but torquey.

Did you end up using the r3 tranny? ? I used one in my Willy's and modded it to keep the transmission as much as I could in the engine compartment it makes it a very tight fit for everything in there lol if I were to do it again I'd use the rc4wd 2 speed axial tranny its slightly bigger than the wraith tranny .... oh and where's the updates on this dam jeep |
