| My X-Nylint build
Ive decided to use my 1/6 Nylint Scorpion body to build a scaler. Ive got a transmision and x factor axles on the way. Since this is my first build I was wondering what esc to use and what style suspension is the best? Also how can I build really long drive shafts?

Does anyone have an idea on which esc to use or how to make custom drive shafts? I'm trying to do this build on a budget.

You can get around 5 or 6" out of them, but if you put more than one together, like a radio ant. ,some people have made some pretty long ones. Search it BIGGER IS BETTER |

ESC depends on what motor, batt and how much speed you are planning. Slow and less than 2s, even a Novak Rooster Crawler ed or CC Sidewinder will work. More speed, bigger motor or 3s+, you will need an old Mamba Maxx or a newer Mamba Monster. Revo or Maxx shafts can be easily sectioned and assembled for any length. You'll have to see if the plastic will hold. Once you get your WB set, you can look around on the MIP site or Ebay to see what large rig wheel shafts there are that you could use as a center shaft. Sometimes you can get a Tmaxx/Emaxx/Revo axle shaft (the kind that are dual ended CVD) and use as a long center shaft. Or get 4 MIP center shafts for any of the crawlers, cut them down and have a local shop weld them up to the length you need. |

Pics of frame. Ugly but not as bad as I expected. Also added a few things to my body. |
