Default Willys build-V8

Well I just had to build one of these. After weeks of e- shopping and studying previous posts.I was ready.

RC4WD FRACTURE V8
AXIAL WRAITH AXLES
RC4WD PUNISHER SHAFTS
RC4WD STEEL WHEELS 2.2
PROLINE SWAMPERS
C.M.S.-HOMEMADE
TRAXXAS VELINEON ESC

The jeep is missing the original shovel and ax.But I discovered some one who makes them.Check this sight out.
PATCHES OF PRIDE
Hers what I got so far...

Need a driver.1st run yesterday.Any suggestion for a driver.Thanks in advance

Nice job! How Is the engine "Fracture V8" held in place? Are you going to be able to put the front cover and fan on the engine?

Thanks.Engine cover and the fan are on in the last pic.But I am going to drill some vent holes in the back of the motor and then install a ESC cooling fan in its place.I have had the Fracture V8 in a few vehicals and after a hour or so it gets a little hot

Oh yeah, the motor mounts are shown in the pics 5 from the last. After the testing is complete Then I will take it apart and paint.

Sweet, looks like that'll be a lot of fun! Always wanted to see that v8 in a build. Looks right at home!

Looking good! The Fracture does fit the 1/6th Jeep pretty well, I always thought they were too big for the scale they were sold as.

Hit Ebay for a driver. Sometimes I just search "1/6th scale" and see what pops up. You can get more specific by searching "1/6th headsculpt" lots of bodies will pop up along with heads.

My driver was custom assembled and purchased from 3 different vendors. If you look around you can come up with "someone" unique for your build...

Wow I had to go back and pull this thread out from the archives.

After 6 months of occasional wheeling I needed a few improvements,

Holmes hobby hand wound 35 turn
vanquish c,s and knuckles
rewired with all of the electrics stuffed under the dash
changed the wheels to narrow the track width.

And I think Santa's got some scale goodies coming my way next week

Yesterday on a test run
