Would work well using CF! Just need an upper deck for structural integrity and just have cutouts where necessary for all of your components. Light and strong!! If going CF, check out this place for quasi fiber panels...a lot stronger than standard weave www.dragonplate.com

Sweet!! Can you give me some details about it? I would like to know:
Running weight?
Top speed?
Props? (brand, # of blades, custom cuts)
Both props same rotation or counter rotating?
Esc's? (brand and amp rating)
And i'm assuming you're running a pair of 6s lipo's on each motor. Do you have them parallel or in series?

I have a 44" Aeromarine avenger pro that I want to convert to BL power. A guy on another forum gave me a recipe of parts to get me at 65-68 mph. Right now with a modded CY 26cc gas engine, all I can get is 58 mph. I would like to get it closer to 80 which is why I want to know about yours. Thanks for your input!!

This is my newest 1/5 scale it just got here and it is stock with a pipe added to it. It is loud and fun to drive. it has about half the power of my brushless. So if you have seen these trucks go you have a idea as to the power that brushless brings.

Love how it turned out, great job, the bling factor of the body is second to none. I had toyed with the idea of purchasing a 5-ive T and converting to brushless. From your experience and if you were to do it all over again.... Would you convert a 5-ive T to brushless or do it the way you did? Was it cost benificial?

So this is the start of the shock build that will have Team losi 5ive rear shocks on each corner. The carbon shock tower is the same as the rear but still needs to be filed down and finished. I will be adding a new carbon brace between the shock mounts so that flex is at a minimum. I'm still needing a few things like the Bartolone Racing Losi 5IVE-T Spring Tension Collar. And some O-rings that was missing in the rebuild kit. It works out for me though because the bladders in the next kit can be used in the shock build.

So I got the front shocks done and mounted. I also picked up the green bead locks to match the springs on the shocks I think it's a nice touch.
