| custom CXT tow rig/crawler build thread
Ok so a friend i built a trailer for picked up one of these bodies and i really liked it so i did as well and i will be building custom chassis for both ours, So thought would do a build thread but keep in mind this will take some time cause i'm super busy building trailers and accesories so please be patient Yes i know everyones dying to watch Anyways here's the start pics I had these tires laying around probably wont use but look really cool |

I frinkin love this body and picked one up a few months ago... not sure what to do with it though as it doesn't really fit into a Class.

so i started the frame i cut 1/2" box in half to make c-channel rails and made relief cuts then bent into shape and welded back up, not much progress but i discovered its a pain in the A$$ maybe should have went with aluminum Sorry crappy pics! |

The body mounted up smooth and square, great work man. Started on the rear links and kinda found my ride height, they may be a little short. Ohh and the hitch looks perfect height. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD |

Had to extend the rear links about 2". The up and down travel was way to steep and sloppy, but the wheels base is perfect now. With the load of the trailer the truck sits just right. It's about a 15 lb trailer loaded. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD |
