Question Nylint Crawler

Hi, My wife picked up a Nylint Crawler at a yard sale a few months ago. Unfortunately, when she got home, she dropped the radio and broke it. I was wondering if there is any way to convert to a 2.4ghz system and how would i do it? Thanks

you could change out the TX/RX to something newer.

as well the existing ESC control board.

The steering mechanism/servo needs to go as well.
It really is terrible.

I have two of these 1/6 scale Nylint rc's...
complete and functional.

one is the Scorpion and the other is a Jeep...
plus an additional new extra Jeep body.

I've been contemplating stripping them of their bodies
and reworking them completely.
New chassis... new electronics.

IMO the original electronics suck as bad as the whole chassis design.

But the bodies are cool.

You could buy my stuff...
so I would no longer contemplate altering these. Lol

size in comparison to my Honcho...

^ was bored

That sounds a little more electronic technical than I thought it would. Out of curiosity, how much were you thinkin?

I had a couple of these in the past as well. I fully built one out with a completely custom tube frame, HPI Savage shocks, and a bunch of other little stuff. They are fun, but the electronics will be the downfall every time. Although, my only real complaint is the ultra weak steering.
