Default Thunder Yeti MT4G3 XL

Hello !
I'm Stefan from the Netherlands .
44 years of age , running a dog walking service since 4 years .
and about a year and a half i started the rc hobby with an Axial Exo .
Currently I,m building a "rock racer" / crawler (copying a Yeti xl)
about scale 1/8 or so ,.....started of as a Thunder Tiger MT4-G3 .
Love to see/read the great builds/pictures on this forum !

greetz , Stef

made a copy ( screen picture)from the pdf yeti xl manual , and before printing enlarged it to make a template .
took 2 A4 prints to get the correct scale ,.......enlarged something like 300/325 % if i recall correctly

If you used the axle Yeti XL rear axle it would save you a lot of weight.

thought about it ,... parts are coming on the market now,...
I also like to build thing's myself
on the other hand ,.... maybe the weight is turning out a pro ,.....better traction ,....no more flipping at acceleration ,......
will know when it run's ,...

I think you will find those things your looking for in this build and it will come at a price. Broken parts. The ring and pinion and the diff carrier will be the problems that you will have to deal with. You get past that and you will have a real winner! The look your after is great. I really like this build.

I don't know if you have a term like this in the Netherlands, but that is a BAMF. Please continue this build. Lot of good ideas, and I think fabricating your own SA is ambitious. Is this your first build?
