Default eric113's cxt build

I been wanting to build a tow and gooseneck trailer for while now. Progress is slow. Big thanks goes to Shane and Rob_B

1" flatiron for the frame rails, Shane's side plates and Rob water jetted them out. 3" weld hinge to flip the cab forward.

Got it into roller status. I used revo cantilever shocks and arms for the rear suspension.

Custom 3D printed 2.2 dually wheels.

Rob made me some custom slw hub spacers for the rear wheels.

Started building the flatbed the last pic I decided to use heavier gage sheet metal. I have it tacked down now.

Added supports

I also started on the trailer. I believe I will be making the longest trailer on here. It 75" long.

Mock up. The space at the front of the trailer for will be for 5th wheel camper.

Bumper to bumper

CXT hauler & proposed trailer idea.

Tho' yer gonna need a wide path for that turning radius
btw: locked hauler/trailer axles will make that turning radius even worse.

I'll hope yer not intending on hauling those wee 1/10 scale rigs atop that trailer,
and that they're just being utilized temporarily for a mock up perspective ?

Assuming that CXT hauler is nearer to 1/6 scale...
Ya might wanna build that trailer somewhat wider if you intend on hauling rigs that are more appropriately sized to the CXT's scale ?

I do like your start tho'
Wouldn't mind my 1/6 scale TJ combo hitching a ride
46" L X 12.5" wide is all I need
