i relized i havent updated this thread in a while and the truck has changed alot since the last update
on the last round of updated i decided i wanted a little more performance out of this rig so
it got a ar60 up front and a new power plant the motor mount/gear box for some reason started eating pinnion gears kinda out of the blue so i yanked it and replaced it with a 3 gear and a 2200kv outrunner
its so much better to drive now lol
the ladder rack took a hit on the last outing and poped a weld so i just took it off i kinda like it with out the rack so im not sure its gona go back on for a while yet
it also got a new set of wheels the old ones i think the style fits better but i needed slw hubs to play with the offsets to get the scx10 and ar60 axles offsets closer
its alot more stable now and its got some punch too so its alot more fun to drive ill get a few pics today when i get back out to the shop lol

im not sure i never waighed it but if i had to guess i would say its somewere around 18-20 lbs

and those bodys are almost unobtainium these days and if you do find one exspect them to ask $300-$500 just for the body

the pricing is crazy but there long discontinued and most of them ended up in the dump
i just found a singlecab version for $150 and snaped it up and feel lucky to have got it at any price

The bodies sure are disappearing, not quickly though. I have been re-searching ebay for the last few years. The deals come and go. sometimes too good to be true, but real! I bought the dale earnhard 1/6 gocart NIP for 6.99. There's a silver mini cooper on there right now. I paid 50 for mine. The CXT's are still pricy, Cherokee jeeps non existent, same as the artin ford ranger. I have that exact same body myself. My build is less capable than yours for sure. I'm using Hpi Wheely king axles, and that gets me the width I'm looking for.

it was and worked pretty good but i got board of the brushed motors and swaped out for 1 big brushless outrunner but that kept eating pinion gears
the shaft i used was to soft the pin hole hoged out and streached

so i broke down and replaced the whole asembaly with a 3 gear



its still a beast but now its faster than just walking speed
