well its been along time since ive posted about this, so i have snapped all the axle tubes, and i tryed to make some new ones. They turned out OK, but i just didnt like the way they looked, so i broke down and bought some alum ones off ebay for $60 bucks. Well i got the axle tubes in...i love them...I was going to snap some pics before i slapped them in, but the cam was dead, but i do have some pics ill get loaded in of them in. The only draw back was. I did not realize that i would need the alum knuckles as well, so i shaved down the stock ones....eh they work some what, ive broke 2 of the ends of steering arms off. just redrilled them and ran with it for now. Ill save up the money and order the knuckles to match. Once i get all the breakage out of my system then its time to work on getting some more power out of it. It just seems week to me. my buddy was out with one of theose nylents and he walk up stuff i couldnt make, but there was stuff he had troubles with that i didnt. on a side note, i did something differant on the 1:1 jeep, and had to make the little one match it....It got a differant style of a blacked out hood, and some 35's for now |
