Has anyone come up with an ESC mount that sits on top of the transmission and ties into the three large bolts running down from the top? I want to get a 3d printed tray where I can mount the ESC and receiver above the transmission, and then use the spot next to the servo for mounting the battery. Thanks! |

Probably not what you need but I came up with a front battery mount that doesnt require moving the ESC but it wasnt intended to be the main battery, just a small (shorty) servo battery. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5141653 Also have you thought about mounting the ESC on the side trays? The stock ESC isnt that heavy. EDIT: I just took a look and even with the ESC being small I have a feeling there isn't enough room for it on top of the tranny with the stock body and interior. I crammed a 35mm tall box inside and it was touching interior. Last edited by HumboldtEF; 12-19-2021 at 08:46 PM. |

Greetings, I was measuring that as well, it would be close. I don't feel the ESC needs a fan for crawling, and cutting a small hole in the middle of the interior would allow for space, but I also agree that some measurements would be a good thing to see if I can just mount on the side board and make the connector reach the battery. Should work I think , and a better option. I'll check it out. Thanks! s |
