I just finished narrowing the wheels today. They come out a little under 2 1/2 inch wide. I know it's still wide but it looks good on the truck. Putting on the ring on the wheels sucks it takes to long. |

I wanted to make the XTM Axles wider. This is what I found. If you get Clodbuster knuckles from Hot Racing and Clod wheel axles they will fit. You will have to cut down the knuckle ends. This will add ½ inch per side and a 12mm hex. I also got some wheel wideners from Integy they are 12mm to 17mm and add 1 inch per side. The stock axle is around 10 inch wide hex to hex. After all the up grades the axle ends up being around 13 inch wide hex to hex. Stock Axle Clod Hot Racing Knuckles XTM & Clodbuster wheel axle Integy wheel wideners 12mm hex to 17mm hex This is the difference in knuckles Stock XTM Crawler and Clod Hot Racing Last edited by JJR; 07-16-2009 at 10:19 AM. |

The knuckles have to be cut down to 3.10mm each end. This is what it should look like. To the left the stock Hot Racing knuckle and to the right it cut down. I just cant wait until it's done! This is next! Last edited by JJR; 08-23-2009 at 08:27 PM. |

Thanks, Yes I do have an extra body but I need it to make a Mold. So I can make more body's out of Fiberglass or Carbon Fiber.
