Nice so far.., for a scale build, you could run TXT axles ( scale Rockwells), and tranny, or run Juggernaught stuff to..I am just running clod cases in my 1/6th scaler, and so far, they work mint..!

i have a set of TXTs but there about 3" to skiny and wheel wideners are only going to give me about 1 1/2 but the maxx axles i have will be perfect(i think). im going to start on the axle tubes ASAP. and those spare TXTs will come in handy on my next project!

I'm not sure exactly how you calculated your wb numbers for the poll, but they're not correct. That body is 1:6 scale, so take your actual wb measurment and multiply it by 6 to get the 1:1 equivalent. Like this, 15" = 90" 15.5" = 93" 16" = 96" 16.5" = 99" 17" = 102" 17.5" = 105" 18" = 108" 18.5" = 111" 19" = 114" 19.5" = 117" 20" = 120" 20.5" = 123" 21" = 126" I would vote for the 17-17.5" wb to look the best and still perform well. Also, I would narrow your wheels down to 1.75-2" wide to get them to look more realistic and perform better. Other than that it looks good, nice job on the axles. I've been wanting to do a 1:6 scale nylint build for a while now, but I better finish my 1:6 scale ranger first.

Well regardless what scale I still vote for the 17-17.5" wb. I've built up like four Nylints and that's what wb I ran them at. Yeah, the ranger is 1:7.5. I've got some txt axles, an e-maxx tranny, and the body so far. The plan is to run probably some msd wheels, mamba max, 4 cell a123 batt, 1/4 scale steering/winch servos, all-t's, and some savage shocks. It will haul balls too. | |

Well i just got it all linked up at 19"s!! Shes looong! but i can always shortin it up a little if i dont like how it crawls. I think a rear disco driveshaft will have to be in the works to get this thing turned around Last edited by rockin92xj; 01-12-2008 at 07:52 PM.

The truck looks great other than the orange and no engine. Put an engine or inner fenders in so you can't see through the truck.
