I had the same problem a few days after i got mine. Didn't think it could be the batteries but it was. I have to turn on the transmitter, wait for the light on the back to stop flashing then turn on reciever, only way to reliably connect.

hey guys i have the same problem also . and i have 2 micro's . dont throw out the batteries that were "dead" put them in another transmitter or something ,and see if they still work .let me know, cause i put them in my MRC transmitter and they are working fine .
