Default Max Voltage Input For Micro Crawler

Will somebody please let me know if it's OK to run a 7.4 volt 360 Mah LIPO in the microcrawler? I added an atomic dual ball bearing motor and that added some power and speed. Today I got a 7.4 volt 360Mah LIPO battery today and there's so much difference I'm afraid it might be bad. The truck will almost pull a wheelie from a stop, going backwards then full forward it will flip over backwards. WOW!!!!

Thank yo in advance for any information.

The largest battery that thread mentions is a 240mAh battery.

The 7.4V 360mAh battery will be fine in it. The C rating might be a little higher, so your getting more of a punch.

I meant that five posts below this one was a thread talking all about lipos. Sounded good in my head.

I figured that when HH, the distributor of the product, has the LiPo listed as a hop-up to this product AND being the first (battery and charger) and second (battery) on said list, that it would be ok. Why don't you contact the manufacturer for the real answer?

a 7.4 volt lipo will wokr perfectly fine. the mah has nothing to do with it, it only controls the runtime of the vehicle. but the 7.4 volts works fine. ive been running a 7.4 lipo since 3 mins after i took it out of the box. your good to go buddy. yes its a ton faster but it is also twice the voltage so twice the rpm the motor will spin. watch out after a bit your stock motor will start heating up. its a pretty weak motor for the crawler. i suggest looking into the bb1 or bb2 from atomicmods.com they are great additions to a brushed micro crawler from what i hear

And I quote.....from the man who helped design it......

Hi Guys, not sure how I missed it in the manual, but yes it will accept a 2S lipo pack.

Default Atomic Motor

I did mention that I added the dual ballbearing Atomic motor as well as the 360 Mah 7.4 volt lipo. The truck is actually too fast for easy control. UNBELIEVABLE difference!!

Partially correct, you forgot to mention....Mah in conjunction with the C rating will effect the performance. You may not have as much punch or can actually overamp the lipo if you dont take this into consideration.
