Default Some model bodies i have laying around

i use to put models together all the time. once in awhile i would mess up and that means i have some kits i never finished. ill be showing off some rather strange ideas for crawlers here.

1st up is a 701/2 Camaro Z28. i love the look of this car but im not sure it looks rite on the crawler, lol...

more to come soon.

If you're like me, it probably looks like a 1000 acre junk yard

The Peugeot wouldn't look half bad with some fender trimming!

Agreed. Trim the fenders, lower the body. Looks like it'd be a good comp body. Reminds me of my old Pacer body I ran on my 1.9 scaler.

I like the peugeot 206 as well. It has a nice round look to it. I think that would make a cool crawler.

ok so i didnt have this one laying around. did a google search for paper bodies after i read takmans thread :

http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showt...49#post2182849

after farting around in photoshop getting the size rite here is my toyota landcruiser. i did it on 110 lb press card stock so its a little stronger then standard paper. i also ran out of ink so it gave me the chance to give it a little sharpie paint job.

any way check it out.

i did how ever have this body laying around (last of my unused model bodies). a 55 stepside.

Extend the crawlers wheelbase, then some of the bodies will fit better.

My vote goes to the Camaro.

Lots of guys did that kind of converson around here back in the late 70's/early 80's when we were kids. I remember a guy who had an early 70's Camaro just like that one, lifted like 6" w/ 38" tires. Crazy looking.

Chevy Vega wagons were a popular candidate also because they'd drop right on a CJ frame...

I've seen the 1:1 of that Camaro at the Mounds ORV park here in Michigan... YEEEEHAW!!! lol

You will need a Budweiser front plate, cracked windshield, block lift under leaf springs, booger welded steering linkage, and the driver must have a serious mullet in order to pull it off properly.
