I haven't posted in a while ive kind of been into other things. 1/1 2008 CBR 1000, 1/8 Venom GPV-1 motorcycle (sweet by the way), and a 1/10 4x4 Traxxas Slash (also sweet and fast!!)

My Micro is torn down at the moment as i destroyed one of my rims with a drill press. I had been waiting on new wheels and when i got them i just didnt have the time. Im considering doing a ground up rebuild maybe with a diffrent body and certianly custom frame. :-P When i get some time. :-( Im pulling permanate overtime at the job and just orderd full exhaust and and Power Commander for my bike. And im still not sure what im going to do with it anyway.

You mentioned planning on lowering it more. Have you picked out or found any tires yet?

Looks really good. I'm excited to see what else you have up your sleeve.
Thanks for the comments. I am probably going to stick with the stockers for now. I was planning on trimming out the wheel wells a little and lowering the body.

I may have to. It would be nice to own a Ford that actually runs as my 1/1 hasnt for months. :-P

where did you get all that clear plastic stuff?!

i like your truck, looks good!
The plastic is all acrylic scraps i got from my old job and glued togeather. If you live in or near the SF bay area Tap Plastics sells Acrylic in all shapes and sizes. They even have a scrap bin where you can get other peoples leftovers for around half off.

They came like that on the model. They dont really bother me ( though i did think they look funny) So, I will probably just leave them.

Just went through and updated the photos as the links were broken.

Just spent some more time working on the GMC. The old servo died on me and so it has not been run it in the while. I put in a new, generic, high torque metal gear servo. I removed the bumpers then trimmed and lowered the body a little more. Ill post up a few new photos an a video in a bit.

So after looking at the old photos I only barely lowered it. So I am going to do some more cutting and take some photos as I go. Hope to enjoy!

Trimmed. Think I will slap on a little fresh paint and call it a day. I may lower it more later but this will do for now. Let me know what you think. Ill post up some new pics with dry paint and electronics installed later.

That's looking good- nice job so far. Lowering it & trimming the fenders was definately the way to go.

Painting it bright red...

Not sure how excited I am about this... Needed a change, that and I am out of the green.

Hoping for the best.

We shall see on the morn.

Thanks guys, and I am starting to dig this color. The paint needs to cure a little more before I put everything together.

Teaser shot.
