Can you share what the metal sleeve is and how it is attached to the driveline? I assume it is some kind of spacer that slides on the trans output shaft and the drive line "D" shape inside is just barely contacting? or is it a custom sleeve that has a "D" shape inside part of it?

I'll try to help here as I am working on the same thing.
The "d" shape in the driveshaft yoke has been drilled out to round to allow a brass tube sleeve to be inserted to the yoke. The sleeve is cross drilled so that the stock screw that held the yoke to the output shaft can now hold the brass sleeve in. The screw will also act as a pin on the inside of the tube to engage the output shaft. (red circle)
The output shaft has been machined down to a diameter that will fit inside the brass tube, and the end of the output shaft is slotted so that the screw/pin will engage it. (blue circle)

Thanks, I think I got it. I like the simplicity of the notch in the end of the shaft contacting the conecting pin.

It actually was really easy. The hardest part is finding the sleeve material. I found a shim in my scrw box that worked perfect.

Now all I need to find is the small plastic hinges. I think I will mount a micro servo on the rear axle and run linkage forward to the hinge / dig. That will keep the components down in the middle and the weight over the axles.

What are you using for a reciever and esc? I tried a decased am reciever and miniqlo esc, not too impressed, the stock setup works better. But I NEED 3 channels for dig.

I use a TQ4 2.4ghz 4ch radio with 4 channel receiver. I will probably decase the receiver. I have 2 ESC's I use in these...a Castle sidewinder Micro and an old Novak XRS sport. I like the XRS a lot and it is cheap.

Whaaa? sorry to resurrect an old thread, but how did you do move your steering links to behind axle? Man, that's a clean look. Is that dependent on link/shock relocation?

This can only be done with a dp torsion chassis. Since its a torsion chassis, the shocks are removed from the equation all together. I ran this bta setup on my first micro and it worked awesome.

I'm sorry but i don't understand how to make a dig from those pics. I was just wandering if someone could post more detailed pics.
