that thing is awesome sauce. I bet you could get even more speed by using the RC4WD micro rex axles. about the same width as the losi's though they are pretty pricey at $50 each axle the only build ive seen with them was green rivers lindberg cherokee they come in natural silver now EDIT: just saw the robbys timebuggy was bumped up on scale4x4, i had totally forgotten about that one Last edited by spoo76; 10-08-2010 at 10:57 PM. |

Sick build, definitely say there is some interest in monster trucks around here But have you checked out rcmt.net? They would all go googly over this little project |

Love the shot on stock wheels! Classic! Totally unrecognizable as a crawler. What do you do with it, crush all of your old 1/24 scale car bodies? |

| Holy Crap!!!! I love it! When I saw that chassis last week, I kinda had a feeling something special was about to happen. That is one of the best looking, most true-to-scale RC monster trucks I've ever seen. Being done in 1:24th scale and still being so detail-laden makes it that much more impressive. Great interior, driver, engine, shocks, everything. And I see that steering setup tucked in there that is some of the best work and you can't really even see it. You nailed it dude. Fabulous job... Once again, sell it! Lol I would have bought this over the crawler even if it was double the price!

Completely agree with everyone... Way cool build, to have this amount of detail with such a small platform is pretty crazy. Plus I mean who doesn't like monster trucks Very cool...would love to see this put through it's paces. |

Wow. That is the most impressive thing I've seen on this site... And I've been lurking for a while. Wonderful execution of an original idea. Mad props. |

Thanks for all of the comments. I don't want to hijack my own thread but what is the best way to put video on the computer without loosing quality? Should I use a video capture card or software? I have camcorder with firewire or s-video out. Here are some size comparison pics. 450 Size Heli 1/8 Buggy. Both have the same ground clearance. Last edited by rcdave13; 11-02-2010 at 07:49 PM. |
