Default I'm drinking the Kool-Aid!!!

Alright, so after having my AX10 for a year and running it maybe 10 times I've decided to try something new. After seeing the indoor crawler mountains members have made, I knew this was the crawler for me.

So I ordered a slightly used RTR off ebay.

I'm liking the No Shocks Torsion Chassis for $15.

I'm really really liking the Rok Lox for $14 (whole set)

I would also like a set of beadlocks, but $40 seems like a bit much for some tiny wheels. I'm not to sure what my other options are besides using my stock rims and ditching the tires.

I'll probably get the HS65 to handle the new tires and I'll do all the other low CG mods (moving battery and electronics, flipping).

I definitely want to ditch the stock body. I'll run buy the toy stores and see what I can find.

I'm excited about the crawler, but I think I'm actually MORE excited about building a crawling area!

Micro PVC Beadlock Mod

I did the PVC beadlock mod to the stock wheels- works like a champ.

Thanks, looks good. I'm assuming the Micro comes with rings already.

Yep, both sides of the wheels have plastic 'lock rings held in place by 6 screws per side.
