Are you planning on including a tool with each set with that two pin set-up?

Anyone have a pic of the difference in the hub on the Micro crawler and the trekker? I know the part # for the Micro axle stubs is LOSB1712. I can't find a part number for the Trekker ones!
The part number for the Trekker axle shafts is LOSB1737. I don't think it would be possible to machine a hex-head adapter into the nuts, because it's hard to do sharp corners on a mill, much less corners that small. A slot for a screw driver would be very easy to pull off and work perfectly fine, provided it's deep enough.

Thanks for that part #.

I heard from him today. I helped him with some info to set up a vendors post so he can show pricing and all. In the beginning it is a little overwhelming to get it all together. I expect he will be ready to roll very soon.

I understand some of the nervousness about a new vendor with low posts and (up to date) not very great communication. I expect and hope that things will work out fine in the end. I too have a full time job and family and have trouble as a vendor making sure I keep on top of the requests and orders. If I didn't have a smart phone I would be dead! There are times when I am not near a computer for days.

Anyways, good luck on everything! I hope to get a set soon

The shop I work at usually has hexes EDM'd which is super expensive. I chose to go with a spanner for ease of manufacture. Holes are a cheap way to add an interface.

What about some for my vertex rims? They do not require the nuts in the rim, they look like the one side of your weights, can you make barrel nuts like the Bwd ones?

Did u plan on offering a tool with purchase of a set? Or a part number to order a tool? I totally understand the manufacturing side. Drilling two holes is way easier than anything else.

The spanner bit is included with the sets, it's a #12. I just use it without any handle and it does the job good.

Have you shipped any of these yet? Anyone received these yet? If so, what do you think of them?

I have a set and they are top notch. They are so strong that I see them as the last ones you would ever have to buy. They don't fit the original Micro but with either slight modification or a different nut they will. I already spoke to him and he is looking into some options for the guys with older micro's. $40 does sound like alot but the quality is unreal. The extra weight they add is nice too. I know he wants to bring his price down but the process is just so expensive. I will be buying another set when I get my Trekker in. The ones I have are being modded to fit an older micro axle.

I want some for my micro w Bwd wheels, not just Bc he doesn't have the nuts but I want the extra weight the brass has to offer. Are you looking into this any? Could I use the longer trekker cv's on the micro to make them work?

i dont think these widners will work with the bwd wheels. dont the vertexs need the widners that bwd makes to run them?

No you don't have to have widners to run them just the special nuts to run the widners. The Bwd don't need lock nuts though.

i just want to say these widners are top notch even tho they have a good price tag. i will def buy another set if they are made for the micro crawler axle stubs. im using these on mu trekker axles. ive been running crawler x widners on my crawler and you cant even compare the two. Def keep up the good work and i hope you look into the micro crawler for us!

Thanks for the kind words Danally and Slambaam.

I make these in the shop I work at and do not get a break on price from the owners. I do however make each and every one of these myself. Made in the USA. I will work on getting the prices of future offerings down a bit. If your interested PM me to order.

Heres a link to my vendor page.

So why do these only fit the Trekker? Is it the axle shafts or something else?
