Got my torsion chassis on. Now I'm un clear how to get this thing to flex. I put the screws all the way in and backed them out a couple turns and it doesn't move much. Do I have to back them all the way out for flex? This is all I get with them just backed off.

All the way out for max flex. If you want more you can LIGHTLY sand the arms or boil the chassis which I haven't tried.

I thought about boiling it after I had it together. Doh I'll have to loosen them tonight and see.

Pred. motor arrived today. Thanks danally! Its a greatly improved truck with this motor way more controlability! I also boiled the side plates for 15 min. each. I'm starting to like this torsion chassis now. With the screws backed as far out as possible it flexes quite nice. The rok lok tires are pretty grippy as well. I'm not sure what the tires are weighted to as i just stole the bb's the previous owner had in them. I think i'll still be needing some more weight up front tho and probably more in the back at the same time. I'm screwed i'm hooked on this little thing. Now i need to build a course for it :-p On to some pics i futzed with my phone to get better lighting so its not so dark.

entertainment center became my testing grounds

That looks more like it!! I love the control of the torsion. I think the more weight on your tires will only increase your flex and add stability. These chassis are way more adjustable than I ever thought. It's also light as a feather.
Your TT is looking great, nice job!

The stability is really what i'm after and i know it would also add some flex which couldn't hurt Mind helping a noob out with the TT what does it mean?
