Default Josh's μCrawler

Thought I'd share my my Micro with you guys. Thank you guys for all your intuitive posts.

I moved the shocks inward and changed their pivoting direction. Don't know were that hair came from I just cleaned my axles!

Glued carbon rod upper links 1 piece threaded(had to buy a die and rod to thread these) carbon covered bottoms(all purchased at HobbyTown).
Losi Lipo battery just clears gear looks sketch but no problems yet. Stock drive shaft

The rubberband that holds on my battery also work as shock limiters to give the rear a slight lift.

Patriot servo from HobbyTown. Stock wheels and tires. I have a weighted set but this truck is running too good right now.

Thanks, Josh

How I fixed my transmission part of a Bic lighter and part of a very small thin spring. No more dragging and burning up motors.

i vacuum formed it from a Beetle purchased at Cracker Barrel. Bought the lexan sheets from HT usa, pegboard, and shop vac. I attached the lexan to a frame and heated it in the oven. If I remember right I did it with the door open keeping an eye on how saggy it got. Set the car on top of the sealed box except the side that is pegboard and attached to the vacuum. You then push the frame tightly over the car. Clear as mud?

Ya know given thought to this you probably could get away with a heat gun. I may give this a try.

note: Heatgun didn't work.

At least on this really tall square Defender 90 body I just tried. I have another sheet maybe I will try to vacuum one of it tomorrow.
