Default dug out micro crawler; missing wheel

here is how my micro sits..
RReaves569's Library | Photobucket

It only has 3 wheels.. lost one.. I think I bought these from billet works a long time ago.. Tried to PM him, but could not.

Anyways I may need to just buy a whole new set of rims.. I liked these because they were weighted.. What is out there now? In the mean time I will be browsing this thread searching.. I have seen some of the 3d printed wheels, but they look very lightweight..

Also most of the info I am seeing is for the newer trail treker. Mine is the original micro crawler..

Thanks

Hey Billy, The parts from Billet Works were just the metal bead lock washer things, they attached to stock rims. There are some aluminum rims both bead lock and glue on, but they are stock offset. Danally has some robust delrin rims that are unbreakable. I will be the first to admit the 3D printed rims are not as strong as aluminum or delrin, but the question is, are they strong enough? I say yes. The Trekker has 1/8" longer axle stubs, so if you got rims that had 1/8" offset your McRc would have the same width as a Trekker. 1/4" offset rims would get you 1/8" wider than a Trekker. Some of my rims have the weight recess so you can wrap copper wire or solder to add weight to the rim. Good luck with the rebuild!
