reading this thread helped alot

The beginers guide to the MRC.

for upgrades

Losi MRC Ultimate Guide

basically, what i've done to my car was cut the electronics tray out, moved electronics as low as possible, wheel weights, shock oil, limited the shocks, etc. basic things, and it crawls better..better tires will probably make a night and day difference for me,because sometimes it wont crawl over simple things

i guess you could try and get a new motor i am just about to by one and i know its hard to find new motors for it but if you can thats what i would go for also you can get high clearence links a new bodyshell for more clearence. Ive just noticed they have some 1/18th brushless motors for 50 us dollars which in british pounds isnt much.(from england)

Hope this helps also is it stock

just seen some batterys with more aH that might make it have longer last time on the truck also when or if you get the brushless motor you might need a new esc there are some at hobbywing with a rock crawler mode i dont really now much about the mrc so i dont know if that is a good idea.
