Default Y-Towns Mini Beetlejuice..Crawler-dad..STYLE

Well Finally its been CREATED..I received a bag with white delrin pieces and this COOL looking skid..
I have already had a MRC BJ that i made from a V3 chassis..but this new Mini Beetlejuice chassis is a work of art!!
Parts I am building with and link lengths for those who are interested..

MMmini ESC
HiTec 5955 servo
Associated Stump puller
alluminum gears in trans
locked frt and rear axles
Etriex 1.9 white delrin wheels w/ HB rovers
custom shrink wrapped reciever and 2s 800 and 3s 450 Hyperion batteries
Losi CVDs
straight axles in rear
I redrilled the skid so I could do the trans flip
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
front upper links are stock MRC lower links- 3 3/8 eye to eye
front lower 1/4 delrin 3 1/4 eye to eye
rear upper stock MRC lower links 3 1/2 eye to eye
rear lower 1/4 delrin 3 5/16 eye to eye
I bent the lower links to my liking...but measurements are still what is posted
I still need to finish panels and cross braces..
rear of skid 2 1/4 frt skid 2 inch ground clearence

rear links are spaced 3mm at the axle plate for clearence
I used a T looking bracket on top of the Y-Town frt servo mount and rear 4 link mount for batter and electronics mounting..

NOW TO THE PICS..

I ran a pack thru it this afternoon and just like all Y-Town chassis's they are so dialed.. but everyone has different driving styles so some tweeking will be needed..
This chassis is fricken NICE,,and the skid is just a SWEET piece of ART..
I have been waiting for along time for this Y-Town mini chassis..its been worth the wait

Jeremy and Doug...thank you!!!

As for when I'm open and where, New Papago always has some real good terrain for testing mini's.

marc she's lookin great.

you can make your rear lowers slightly shorter to get your rear pinion angle up a bit.

it will take some of the bind out of the mip's and then you can take the spacer off the rear uppers.

keep us posted

Drove the Mini BEETLEJUICE at its first comp...WOWWEEWOW !!! this thing is set up and working like no other..It climbed with EASE,traversed side hills and ran through crevasse's with little effort..it settled with small jumps and simply handled PERFECT !!!!!!

this thing is dialed and I will be getting a new motor combo soon, this should be the last piece to the complete package...

Thanks to Jeremy and the Y-TOWN CREW..

opened the mail box and there it was..the two packages I was waiting for
First was Contraband 16 turn Crawler Mafia motor 10 tooth pinion 60 spur..this is wayyyy GOOD
Next was the new Vertex 1.9 wheels from BWD..white delrin..
the pictures will show what these wheels do for the HB 1.9 rover..I like it 10.4 oz each frt wheel rear wheel is at 3.2 oz each and TALL
Ok to the pictures now..there is a comparison to my Eritex wheels..

Eritex wheels with rovers

BWD wheels with rovers

frt and rear Eritex

frt and rear BWD wheels

make shift weight system for now..ugly but effective..will work on a better looking weight system

Thanks Don@BWD Thanks Paul@Crawler Mafia
