Just want to get what I already have going 1st, then look to one of these or a Br00d ("if" he makes them) since Holmes stopped making MRC sized brushed.

Haven't been on RCCrawler for a few weeks, been studying for a exam only
20% of the people who take it pass . Good to pop on and see pleasant
news. Can't wait to try mine, I only hear the best about people running
contraband. The mini is already over built, and have yet to run it

Got my 17t and it rocks, what would you suggest for the pinion size? It has great low end control and has the ballz to get up and go. It is a great motor. Thanks

Ran the motor at our comp on Sunday, lots of speed and torque. I did have an issue with it possibly shutting down the micro sidewinder because of too much draw. any ideas?? what batteries have people been using? I was running the 325mAh 2s 35C thunder power and not getting a long run time on them. I know they are small but the last motor I used HHTMM had no issues completing a course.

Thanks
John

Is the motor warm/hot? Maybe you're just a bit overgeared. Calvin is running a similar pack, but it's a 65C (not that it's much of a difference.)
Maybe drop the pinion a tooth.
