Hitec Hs-645mg - 30.00 from Tower Hobbies
Flysky remote - 45.00 or so from Hobby Partz
Tekin B1R - 50.00 or so from Tower Hobbies
Hobby Partz has lipos really cheap.
Then the motor part is tough. There is a site that is selling the Mamba Micro Pro for 99 shipped.

May I direct you to this thread. Someone asked the same question last week and I made a list of the cheapest way but also done right. It includes links to the parts. I put 2 of these together within a couple of weeks and they work great.

I just ordered one and I don't think it does. However the MRC pro came with a pinion gear. I'll have to check the tooth count though.

The supplied pinion is a 14 tooth.

The best upgrade is practice time.

Tires and wheel weights are next.

Bent links in the rear are nice but not a high priority.

There are lots of bling upgrades but most will not add performance benefits (except in the sellers' pockets).

So far I see aluminum Knuckles to be a good buy.
I want to get that mamba micro pro.
Seems like a good deal for 99 shipped.

I'm not a BL expert, but I think a ~4K (or 4000) motor is more like where you want to be. The 8K will likely be rather fast.

No problem.
I have both metric & American allen sets, I use whatever fits.
