|  My 2012 1.9 comp rig
Finally got my comp rig for this season complete and ready to go,,,,thought I'd post up some pics and spec's. Ran a pretty much stock MRC PRO with Novak setup all last year,,,,ran real well,,,still can't believe there not selling them anymore,,,anyway for this year I was able to acquire a used mini juice chassis!!!  I yanked the novak setup and put in a 17t Contraband motor I got last year but never installed. This time I decided to give the Tekin B1R a go for the ESC. I run all Tekin stuff on my 2.2 and am very happy with them!! I'm running a Tower TS-170 servo and CC BEC set to 6v at 333oz. I ran this servo in my 2.2 all last year and it worked real good but decided to go monster torque in the 2.2 rig and filtered this down to my 1.9!!! Also running a receiver bypass adapter I picked up from Chris the Battery Man!! The wiring job is a bit sloppy but that is a lot of stuff to cram into a very small space!! I made the panels myself and attempted to do my own custom skins,,,not the best but will do for now!!! Here are some pics!! Thanks |

Oh no,,,,I just got some of that glue that dries clear. The pic I just found online and printed out on my printer. I should have used photo paper,,,I think they would have come out better. I saw a thread about this glue,,,,,some guy did a spider-man body,,,cut the pics out of a magazine,,,glued then on and planted the rest a solid color. It turned out nice so I thought I'd give it a try!! |

Well it looks really good. Thanks for the ideas. Now i'm gonna have to try that next body I make. Edit: Or they glued on the inside I'm assuming?
