Hot Racing chassis?? anybody?

I am pretty new to this and have been looking at doing a 4 link conversion, but why not just get a whole chassis kit that comes with everything. From what i have seen, i like this Hot Racing chassis. Anybody dealt with this creature before?

it has only been asked about, as far i have researched no one has ran or running this chassis. been told it looks pretty top heavy when i asked about it. for the same price range you can go with a gate keeper 3 chassis which also comes with everything to four link or a bwd mini wedge, bwd low pro which also comes with everything was going to post a link for these but looks to be unavailable at the moment.

i looked at the gatekeeper pretty hard, but like you said, out of stock. everywhere. How top heavy is it? Im not trying to build a comp rig or anything. Just recreational crawling. I would really like to try and make it look more "scale" but i havent found many options for that either. On the other hand, i hate to lose my articulation.

you can still find the gate keeper for sale just got to search, the two bwd chassis i mentioned are not shipping right now.

for how top heavy the hr chassis is, i don't know don't have one it. would be one of those you getting one a be the guinea pig for the rest of us.
if you want to go scale really the only chassis out there is the TCS L-trail chassis but it is just chassis plates the rest you got to come up with on your own.

Well d*mn the research. Im going to try and talk my wife into letting me buy one and ill be the guinne pig. I will definately take build pictures and give plenty of feedback. Whats the worst that can happen?

Thats always nice. Call in a favor sorta. My wife told me today that i could order it and a body for fathers day but come to find out im acquiring a scx10 so that will be my fathers day presant. Not getting rid of the mrc though. do tell how the chassis is. Are you going to do a build thread?

You'll break it trying to get it out of the package, try to contact their "customer service" and get no reply, then have to buy something else.

a buddy has the ax10 hr chassis is a little different in design but mostly the same. he had a pain get it adjusted and working right but it seems to do ok. still waiting to see it on the rocks tho lol
